Advertised on an all-inclusive basis by First Choice and Thomson , this hotel should offer everything that a British family could want from a holiday in the sun, but it may be the case that a lack of simple pool maintenance has made their guests sick. TripAdvisor reviews for the Flamingo Beach are generally quite mixed, with some guests appearing to come away delighted with their break abroad; praising the hotel for their level of cleanliness, but other reviewers have posted scathing reviews, commenting on how their health was impacted by their stay:. Cryptosporidium can be contracted by coming into contact with infected faecal matter. The parasite can happily survive in water, meaning that poorly maintained swimming pool water can present a big risk.

Holiday Village Lanzarote - Review of TUI BLUE Flamingo Beach
With a beachside location and a fantastic pool scene, the Flamingo Beach Resort goes all out to impress. This All Inclusive property fires on all cylinders. For starters, it offers up three big swimming pools. The whole scene is framed by landscaped gardens. On the food and drink front, the emphasis is on big, global buffets served up in the main restaurant.
With two boisterous boys in our family, Jack, 5, and Robin, 3, myself, 30, and husband Steve, 32, really wanted to go somewhere that would cater for their every need, as well as ours. The complex is a minute walk along the coastline from the gorgeous town of Playa Blanca which has lovely souvenir shops for mums. We ventured out a few times to see the local area and got the minute ferry across to the island of Fuerteventura, which had picturesque sandy beaches and old-fashioned winding streets in the main town for us to explore. We hired bikes from the resort and cycled along the bay of Playa Blanca, which is flat and pedestrianised for walkers and cyclists.
